Should feel better than work:

The Benefits of Walking -
From stress reduction to less incidence of cancer, heart
disease, stroke and diabetes, the benefits of walking are
amazing! Some even say walking relieves constipation and helps
cure impotence!
Walking stimulates the brain to release endorphins and increases
the production of the neurotransmitter serotonin, the bodys
natural mood elevator. Walking makes us happy.
Richard Carmona, U.S. Surgeon General, advises, "Walking
is the biggest bang for our buck. Thirty minutes a day of
walking will prevent many cases of diabetes, hypertension,
and other chronic diseases. Walking is the simplest, easiest
way for most people."
And Secretary of Health and Human Services Tommy Thompson,
logs in 10,000 steps a day on his pedometer.
Even Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence
and third President of the United States, believed that "of
all exercises, walking is the best."
It seems our patriotic duty is to walk!
Here are a few ideas from Our Lady of Weight Loss on how
to increase your daily steps:

When and in what city was the first chocolate factory established
in the United States?
Congratulations to both: Samantha from Eliot,
Maine and Amy from Summerville, SC, who enlightened Our Lady
within 10 seconds of each other!
The answer: The first chocolate factory was established in
1765 in Dorchester, Mass.

Dear OLofWL, I
enjoy your newsletter a great deal and am thrilled for more
evidence to support my jones for dark chocolate, which I satisfy
at every rational opportunity. I also am an evangelist about
it. My favorites are the Dove dark chocolate bite-sized pieces,
which I call Antioxidant Drops and tell everyone are strictly
medicinal. I even have co-workers dropping by to see if I
have any Antioxidant Drops. I feel sort of like the chocolate
curandera, dispensing health by the morsel. In fact, I wish
I had some right now. Have you noticed, once you get used
to the rich taste of dark chocolate, other forms of chocolate
taste weak and adulterated?~ Kathryn in Kansas
Dear Kathryn in Kansas, Always
happy to support a jones of any kind. And, yes, I agree -
dark chocolate is best - in moderation! Thanks for writing.
