Dear All,
I am participating in a seminar at the 92nd Street Y, NYC, entitled Tea and Transition With the Transition Network.
It's about taking risks when your over 50. Some say, that when it comes to taking risks and reinventing oneself after 50, I take the cake!
I lost over 50 pounds in honor of my 50th birthday, and then left a perfectly good job to work with Our Lady of Weight Loss, the Patron Saint of Permanent Fat Removal. Together, we've created the website www.OurLadyofWeightLoss.com, for those interested in the Art of Weight Loss, and we write and publish the weekly newsletter called The KICK in the TUSH Club, for those light-hearted, low-cal loving, nutritional friendly folks who crave mammoth portions of food-facts, recipes, art and inspiration.
There's lots more to this story. I hope you'll join with the other panelists and me on November 16, even if you are not quite 50!

Their approach to life after 50 is as diverse as their personalities. Members of The Transition Network demonstrate that the best way to predict the future is to create it.
The Transition Network is a fast growing non-profit organization which helps women redefine life after 50. Join us for tea and talk about transitions. Prepare to be challenged and stimulated, as you share your concerns and hopes with a other interesting women whose circumstances are similar to yours. Christine Millen and Charlotte Frank, founders of The Transition Network, facilitate the conversations in an informal setting where you meet others and begin your personal transition.
